This breakfast blend is a great way to get energized before a demanding day. Quick to prepare and easily transportable, blueberries are a great source vitamins B, C, E and K and the seeds are loaded with protein.

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla soy milk
1/2 cup water
1 banana
1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
2 tablespoons flax seeds*
2 tablespoons hemp seeds**
Ice

**Found in the health food section or the baking section of most grocery stores.

****Optional. Found in most health food stores.

Directions:

Combine milk, water, banana, blueberries, hemp seeds, flax seeds and ice in a blender.

Blend for 30 to 60 seconds or until smooth. Enjoy!
